Key Features to Explore

When you begin your journey with Postglance, you’ll find a variety of engaging features tailored for agency teams. Here are some standout tools that can enhance your workflow:

  • Landing Pages: If one of your clients is running a seasonal promotion or campaign, you can impress them by designing a stunning landing page that showcases their essential links and calls to action. Discover more about creating effective landing pages in our guide: Utilising Landing Pages with Postglance.

  • Hashtag Management: Do you have specific hashtags for each client or social media channel? The hashtag management feature within the Instagram composer allows you to save multiple hashtag groups. This way, you can focus on crafting engaging content rather than repeatedly typing out hashtags. Find out more here: Leveraging Postglance's Hashtag Management.

  • Engagement Insights: Managing comments for several clients can be time-consuming. The engagement dashboard presents all comments received on your clients' Facebook and Instagram accounts, prioritising those that require immediate attention. Learn how to effectively engage with comments here.

Plans and Pricing

Agencies typically manage multiple channels, monitor more metrics, and generate more reports than standard users. So, which Postglance plan is the right fit for your agency?

  • For up to 10 social channels, consider the Essentials (one user) or Team plans (unlimited users).
  • For 11 or more channels, the Agency plan (unlimited users) will be the most economical option for your team.

What constitutes a channel? A channel refers to each individual page, group, or profile you wish to connect. For instance, if you are scheduling content for ten clients, each with five social channels (e.g., Facebook Page, Instagram account, two LinkedIn Pages, and a Pinterest profile), that totals 50 channels.

Connecting your clients' channels

You can connect your clients' social media accounts to Postglance in two ways:

  1. You (the account owner) connect them.
  2. Your clients connect them if they have been granted Admin status on your Postglance account. Below, we will discuss both options to help you decide what works best for your agency.

Option 1: You Connect All Social Channels
To set up your clients’ channels, you’ll need admin permissions or the login credentials for each social account. Each platform has its own requirements, which we outline in the following table:

 Social NetworkRequirements
Facebook PageYour personal Facebook profile must be an admin on the Page.
Facebook GroupYour personal profile must also be an admin of the group.
Instagram Business AccountYou’ll need your Facebook admin details for the associated Page. Instagram login details may be necessary for notification publishing or connection issues.
X ProfileClient’s login details (username and password).
LinkedIn PageYou must have Super Admin access on the Page.
Pinterest BoardClient’s login details (username and password).

When managing multiple Instagram accounts, we advise against handling more than five to ensure effective management, along with maintaining a connection to an active Facebook Page.

Option 2: Clients Connect Their Own Channels
Your clients can connect their social channels if they hold Admin permissions. However, there are critical considerations for this option:

  • Granting Admin access allows the user to manage all channels linked to your Postglance organisation, which may raise confidentiality concerns if you handle multiple clients.

Assigning appropriate permission levels to clients and staff

Postglance offers four main permission levels for your team:

  1. Organisation Owner/Account Owner
  2. Admin
  3. Full Posting Access (Channel Specific)
  4. Approval Required Access (Channel Specific)

Let’s discuss when to use each permission level. For more detailed information on these options, refer to our guide on adding users and setting permissions.

  • Organisation Owner: The account holder who has control over billing. This role has permanent Full Posting access across all channels, and while you cannot designate a second owner, ownership can be transferred if necessary.

  • Admin: This permission grants full access to the Postglance organisation, allowing team members to manage social channels, generate reports, and interact with incoming comments.

  • Full Posting Access: This allows clients to create, edit, and delete posts on specific channels. Many agencies provide this access to clients for transparency and control over their social content.

  • Approval Required Access: If you want clients or team members to draft posts for your review, this access level is ideal. It ensures that all content is vetted before publication.

Managing Client Draft Approvals as an Account Owner

Creating an Additional Profile for Draft Approvals
As the owner of your Postglance organisation, you have permanent Full Posting access, which means your posts go directly to the queue without requiring approval. To manage client approvals effectively, consider creating a separate Postglance account with a different email. This allows you to submit drafts for client review.

Setting a Regular Review Schedule
Establish a regular cadence with your clients (e.g., weekly) to review drafts and create new posts. Clients can then provide feedback, approve, or request changes to the content you've crafted.
