If you've been invited to Postglance as part of a team within an organisation, this guide will help you get set up and familiar with the tools and social channels that are now accessible to you.
In this Article:
In Postglance, each user has an individual organisation where they can manage their own social channels privately. You may also be part of another team’s organisation with access to that organisation’s channels and tools. For details on permission levels, see below.
Note:
When someone invites you to their organisation, Postglance sends an email invitation based on the email address they’ve provided. If you don’t already have a Postglance account, you’ll be guided to set one up and create a password. If you don’t see the invitation email, you may want to ask the organisation owner to confirm your email address or check your spam folder.
The organisation owner sets up your access to specific channels and tools within Postglance. Your permissions will dictate what you’re able to do within each tool.
📝 Even as an admin, access to channels isn’t automatic; you must be invited to each specific channel. For instance, administrators can add channels and manage users but need specific access for each channel they work on.

Once your invitation is accepted, you’ll find both your own organisation and the team organisation within your account menu. Switch between organisations easily depending on where you’d like to work.
If multiple organisations share the same name (such as the default “My Organisation”), you can hover over each to confirm which channels are connected. The organisation owner can rename it if needed.
For first-time users of Postglance’s publishing tool, we recommend referring to the scheduling guide. Those who have used this tool before may now find additional features available due to the organisation’s business plan.
Users with channel access can create draft posts, which is helpful for organising content and requesting approvals. Permissions determine who can create and approve drafts, allowing for a streamlined content workflow.
Full Posting permissions for Facebook Pages or Instagram business accounts allow users to respond to comments in the Engagement tool. Those with Approval Required permissions won’t have access to interact with comments on these accounts.
Admins can connect or refresh channels if they have the necessary permissions on the social platform itself. Make sure you’re operating in the correct organisation before connecting, as channel connections are organisation-specific.
📝 Upon connecting a channel, Admins gain Full Posting Access to it.
If you wish to leave an organisation, simply contact the organisation owner or an administrator. Request your removal by following the appropriate steps they provide.
